Deviled Oysters I
Serve:
1 servings
24 ea oysters
1/2 c cracker crumbs, rolled
1/2 c bread crumbs
1 ts butter, melted
1 tb butter
1 1/2 oz cream
1 salt & pepper to taste
Chop oysters finely; put in saucepan with 1 tsp butter and cream. Season
and add rolled cracker crumbs. Simmer five minutes, stirring. Put in baking
dish, sprinkle bread crumbs and bits of butter (1 Tbsp) over the top and
bake in moderate oven until rich brown..
