Marinated Mozzarella
Serve:
3 Dozen
1 lb Mozzarella cheese, cut into
-thin 2 inch squares
1/4 c Olive oil
2 tb Finely chopped fresh parsley
1 ts Garlic powder
1 ts Onion powder
1 ts Dried oregano leaves,crushed
1/4 ts Ground black pepper
Fresh basil to garnish
Bagel chips or crackers to
-serve
Place cheese in a single layer in a 10×15 inch jellyroll pan. In a small
bowl, whisk next 6 ingredients. Pour oil mixture over cheese. Cover and
refrigerate 8 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend, turning slices
occasionally. Arrange on a serving plate; garnish with fresh basil. Serve
with bagel chips or crackers. Yield: About 3 dozen cheese squares
